Managing Counsel, Product (Payroll experience required)

About the role

As Managing Counsel, Product the lawyer will serve as a strategic legal partner to Product, Payroll, Engineering, Privacy, Security and Commercial teams, translating multi‑jurisdictional legal requirements into practical product guidance, focusing on payroll, AI/ML, data protection, employment law and emerging technology regulation, and operating within a distributed, asynchronous international legal team.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with substantial payroll law experience (required)
• Demonstrated expertise in employment law, data protection and emerging technology regulation
• Experience advising product and engineering teams on HR‑tech or similar technology products
• Strong commercial judgment and product‑thinking mindset
• Interest and knowledge of AI/ML regulatory landscape
• Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed, asynchronous environment
• Based in Saudi Arabia
