About the role

The Employment Counsel reports to the Associate General Counsel – Employment and serves as a strategic partner to the People Team, providing comprehensive employment‑law advice, drafting policies and agreements, supporting investigations, compliance projects and litigation across a fast‑growing defense‑tech organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years employment law experience at a leading law firm and/or in‑house at a large multinational company
  • Deep knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws
  • Significant comfort advising on a variety of HR issues
  • Ability to own multiple projects end‑to‑end with sound judgment and initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service‑first attitude
  • Fast and effective writer of internal documents such as templates and policies
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with ability to think quickly and manage shifting priorities
  • U.S. Person status required for access to export‑controlled information
  • Licensed to practice law in CA, GA, or OH
  • Willing and able to meet daily in‑office requirement at assigned Anduril office
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time to other Anduril offices domestically and internationally
  • Combination of law firm and in‑house experience (preferred)
  • Prior experience supporting an international workforce, including global mobility (preferred)
  • Experience with workplace safety regulations and compliance, including OSHA (preferred)
  • Experience with engineering, software, or other technology companies (preferred)
  • Experience supporting a large manufacturing/production workforce (preferred)
  • Experience with M&A and integrating newly acquired companies (preferred)
