The Lead Engineer steers technical architecture and delivery of complex web and CMS projects for multiple clients, works with strategy, design, production and engineering teams, serves as technical lead for clients, and balances hands‑on coding with guiding engineering standards.

Requirements
- 6–8 years of software or web development experience, preferably in an agency or consulting setting
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, PHP, and modern front‑end/back‑end frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Node.js
- Advanced experience with Drupal and WordPress CMS platforms
- Deep understanding of Drupal architecture, APIs, custom module development, and theming
- Strong knowledge of the LAMP stack, including PHP and MySQL
- Experience building scalable applications, integrations, and API‑driven solutions
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Acquia, Pantheon, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices
- Ability to lead technical decision‑making while remaining hands‑on in execution
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
