About the role
Lead Data Engineer role focused on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and lakehouse solutions using Databricks, Python, PySpark, AWS, and Medallion Architecture, collaborating with analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver reliable business‑ready datasets while ensuring performance, cost efficiency, data quality, and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
- Experience building and optimizing large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Understanding of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse concepts.
- Experience with SQL and performance tuning.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
