About the role
As Lead Data Analyst for Product Analytics you will own measurement of product performance across Updater’s consumer moving app, Pro Onboarding, embedded commerce, marketplace and AI experiences, building KPI dashboards, conducting deep user‑journey analysis, designing A/B tests, maintaining dbt models in Snowflake, sizing roadmap impact and delivering partner reports while partnering with product, marketing and customer success teams.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Expert-level SQL skills and strong experience with modern analytics warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Hands‑on experience designing, instrumenting, and analyzing A/B tests with sound statistical rigor.
- Experience building dashboards and self‑serve reporting in a BI tool; Looker strongly preferred.
- Deep familiarity with funnel analysis, conversion metrics, and user journey analytics.
- Strong product sense, thinking like a designer and strategist to see opportunities behind metrics.
- Comfort delivering results amid ambiguity without fully scoped tickets.
- Excellent communication skills, able to tailor messages to executives, engineers, and non‑technical partners.
- Proactive relationship‑building with stakeholders who may not speak SQL.
- Bonus: Experience with dbt and analytics engineering workflows.
- Bonus: Python or similar programming for analysis and automation.
