About the role

The Lead Compliance Analyst at Transamerica Asset Management supports compliance programs for mutual funds, ETFs, collective investment trusts and separately managed accounts, reporting to the chief compliance officer, serving as a subject‑matter expert, and working a hybrid schedule in Denver, Baltimore or Cedar Rapids.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree(s), designation(s), or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive mutual fund and investment adviser compliance experience.
  • Knowledge of Investment Company and Investment Advisers Acts and related rules and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Advanced analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and other Suite applications.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and associated applications.
  • Securities or compliance designations (preferred).
  • Ability to comprehend complex issues (preferred).
  • Comfortable engaging various technologies (preferred).
  • Advertising and marketing review experience (preferred).
  • Broad exposure to investment adviser products including ETFs, separately managed accounts and private funds (preferred).
  • Experience with AI tools and business use cases (preferred).
  • Experience supporting fund and investment adviser code of ethics (preferred).
