About the role
The Lead AI Engineer will drive AI development within the OneStream platform, overseeing the full AI and software lifecycle, leading design and implementation of scalable AI‑enabled applications, guiding engineers, and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver product solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, DS, EE, CE or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years experience building and deploying production‑level machine learning solutions.
- 3–5 years experience with Python (or similar language).
- 3–5 years experience in frontend development.
- Proficiency in database schema design.
- Proficiency with distributed systems and cloud‑based computing.
- Proven ability to deliver product solutions from concept to deployment (preferred).
- Experience with web services and API frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI (preferred).
- Quick learner capable of self‑teaching new technologies.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on importance.
- Ability to write code using timeless software design patterns (e.g., dependency injection).
- Adaptable to technology and business environment changes.
- Strong analytical skills to trace problems to root causes and address them systematically.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to mentor and lead project teams.
- Strong organizational skills to lead and deliver complex projects on schedule.
- Comfortable presenting to peers and C‑level executives.
