The role leads welding and joining activities for new model launches, overseeing weld quality, inspection, certification, and process improvement within the body area manufacturing team.

Requirements
- Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical or weld engineering or equivalent experience/education
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of mechanical joining, AC/DC, resistance spot welding, sealers and adhesives
- 2‑3 years supervisory experience (preferred)
- Weld certification (preferred)
- Experience in high‑volume production environments (preferred)
- Automotive welding engineering and quality analysis experience (preferred)
- Experience with Bosch controllers (preferred)
- Experience with Kuka or Rockwell automation (preferred)
- Sealant experience (preferred)
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and team‑building skills (preferred)
