About the role
The Java Developer will support a mission‑critical DoD program, handling the full software lifecycle—from requirements gathering and design through coding, testing, deployment, and production support—while collaborating with technical leads, system engineers and other developers in a fully remote setting.

Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one
- BS/BA with 5 years experience, MS/MA with 3 years experience, or PhD with no experience requirement
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java, JavaScript, CSS and Apache Struts
- Proficiency in object‑oriented programming and enterprise application development
- Experience with version control tools
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices and application hardening
- Preferred: experience supporting DoD or other federal programs
- Preferred: familiarity with JSP, Tomcat or related Java web technologies
- Preferred: knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Preferred: strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills
