About the role

The role supports forward model and capacity studies for powertrain operations, leading labor optimization, cycle line layout planning, time studies and documentation to meet labor targets and improve efficiency at the Sharonville Transmission Plant and other North American powertrain facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
  • 2‑3 years of Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing operations experience
  • Limited travel to Ohio and Southeast Michigan
  • Knowledge of time studies, workstation setup and line balancing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Plant Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Process operations experience preferred
  • Capacity and operating pattern knowledge (e.g., Capacity Strategy document) preferred
  • Familiarity with Machining META, Gear & PCA dotmaps preferred
  • Experience with MODAPTS preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in team environments
