About the role
As an Industrial Engineer on the Production Control team within the Manufacturing Technology, Maritime group, you will create and maintain discrete event simulation models and critical‑chain schedules, automate workflows, and provide data‑driven analysis to guide production planning and capacity decisions for Anduril’s AI‑driven maritime factories.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years experience in simulation modeling, production planning, or industrial engineering
- Foundational knowledge of discrete event simulation concepts and experience with at least one DES platform (e.g., FlexSim, Simio, AnyLogic, Arena)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Willingness to integrate new technology into workflows, including script writing and process automation
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python or Excel
- Ability to work directly with manufacturing teams to implement process improvements based on simulation and analytical results
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Master’s degree or coursework emphasis in Operations Research, simulation, or optimization (preferred)
- Experience with critical chain project management concepts or tools (Aurora, ProChain, etc.) (preferred)
- Experience scripting or building automated workflows to support production planning or engineering processes (preferred)
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments such as shipyard, aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing (preferred)
- Programming skills in Python for custom analysis, automation, and integration (preferred)
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Theory of Constraints, or Six Sigma methodologies (preferred)
- Experience with digital twin concepts or integration of simulation with MES/ERP systems (preferred)
- Internship or project experience in factory layout, capacity planning, or production scheduling (preferred)
