About the role
The Front‑End Developer will build and maintain the customer portal for GradCity’s new booking system, working closely with a project manager, product and design stakeholders, QA, and a backend engineer in weekly sprints to deliver clean, performant, and scalable interfaces for complex booking and account workflows. This contract role requires autonomous, collaborative work in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements
- Proven experience building front‑end features for complex web applications, SaaS products, customer portals, or internal business systems.
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern front‑end framework such as React and TypeScript.
- Experience working with APIs, dynamic data, forms, account flows, and multi‑step user journeys.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, browser compatibility, and front‑end performance.
- Experience working in a product development environment with designers, developers, QA, and stakeholders.
- Comfortable using tools such as Notion, Marker, GitHub, Jira, or similar systems for documentation, development, ticketing, and bug tracking.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to anticipate edge cases and make thoughtful decisions within complex user workflows.
- Interest in modern front‑end architecture, web performance optimization, and building intuitive, AI‑enhanced user experiences.
- Experience with travel technology, booking platforms, reservation systems, payments, or customer portals is a major plus.
