About the role
The Finance & Strategy (FP&A) Systems Engineer joins the Finance Systems team to design, build, and maintain platforms that support core financial planning, forecasting and analytics. The role administers the Pigment EPM platform, creates integrations, ensures data integrity, partners with finance stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement of the financial systems infrastructure, including exploring AI‑driven automation.

Requirements
- 8+ years experience in FP&A systems/EPM platforms and finance data warehousing, focusing on planning, forecasting and analysis
- Hands‑on experience administering and developing solutions in enterprise planning platforms (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning or similar)
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills; experience building and maintaining system integrations and data pipelines
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs
- Strong understanding of FP&A processes, financial reporting, and accounting principles
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field
- Techno‑functional background (e.g., CFA) combined with hands‑on development
- Experience owning changes in a shared production codebase alongside a product engineering team
- Warehouse/analytics‑engineering skills such as dbt, BigQuery or comparable
- Experience building robust finance applications with large language models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience with pre‑IPO companies, supporting rapid growth and scaling financial systems
- Understanding of financial data security and compliance requirements
- Certification in relevant planning platforms (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan Model Builder)
- Project management skills and experience leading system implementation workstreams
