Field Engineer / FDE

The role is the execution‑focused side of a Forward Deployed Engineering function, acting as the technical bridge between customers and the product team to own end‑to‑end implementations from scoping to production support.

We are an early‑stage fintech building global identity infrastructure for businesses, focusing on compliance solutions such as KYB/KYC/AML.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience in customer‑facing technical roles such as field engineering, solutions engineering, technical support, or implementation delivery.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting and resolving integration issues in production environments.
• Proficiency with modern web application stacks and APIs (REST, webhooks, or event‑driven architectures).
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or JavaScript in production.
• Comfort working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and data modeling for integrations.
• Experience documenting technical processes, APIs, or implementation guides for customer‑facing audiences.
• Track record of influencing product decisions based on customer feedback in cross‑functional teams.
• Domain expertise in compliance (KYB/KYC/AML) is a strong differentiator.
• Former product owners or managers from fintech who led onboarding or KYC workflows are also considered.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), or cloud platforms (AWS or similar) is a plus.
• Clear, concise communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
