About the role
The EV Charging Station Data Analyst collects, cleans, aggregates and analyzes EV charging station and session data from multiple providers, builds automated data‑transfer frameworks, performs quality control and de‑identification, loads data into databases, generates utilization reports and interactive dashboards, and deploys code on cloud platforms, working remotely or in‑office with occasional team meetings in Columbia, MD.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science or a technical field
- Experience with data analysis software and programming (e.g., MS Azure, Python, GIS, Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Interest in energy efficiency and clean energy, especially transportation technologies
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel
- Ability to work independently on self‑managed tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team
- Comfortable multitasking on time‑sensitive tasks without reduced quality
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Advanced data analytics and visualization using Python, R, Matlab or GIS (preferred)
- Degree in data science or related certifications (preferred)
- 2‑5 years of professional experience (preferred)
- Experience with electric vehicle and charging station data collection and analysis (preferred)
- Database setup and management experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with alternative fuels and transportation electrification (preferred)
- Data modeling and transformation skills (preferred)
- CI/CD workflow development experience (preferred)
- Cloud computing resource coordination and deployment experience (preferred)
