Requirements
- Minimum six years of professional embedded software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C and modern C++ for firmware development
- Experience with ARM Cortex‑M/A, STM32, NXP, Renesas, Texas Instruments, or Microchip microcontrollers
- Deep understanding of embedded architecture, memory management, interrupts, DMA, timers, and peripheral programming
- Hands‑on experience with RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, Embedded Linux, or VxWorks
- Experience developing device drivers and low‑level hardware interfaces
- Knowledge of communication protocols UART, SPI, I2C, CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, USB, Modbus, MQTT, BLE, and TCP/IP
- Familiarity with Embedded Linux kernel configuration and driver development (highly desirable)
- Proficiency with hardware debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers)
- Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated firmware builds, and version control
- Ability to debug, profile, and optimize embedded software
- Experience with build systems like CMake, Makefiles, or Bazel
- Knowledge of secure coding practices for embedded systems
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
- Experience developing software for automotive, aerospace, medical devices, industrial automation, robotics, or IoT platforms (preferred)
- Familiarity with safety standards such as AUTOSAR, MISRA C/C++, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO‑178C, IEC 62304 (preferred)
- Experience with Yocto Project, Buildroot, or custom Embedded Linux distributions (preferred)
- Knowledge of wireless technologies Wi‑Fi, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, or Cellular IoT (preferred)
- Experience implementing secure boot, TPM, Trusted Execution Environment, and firmware signing (preferred)
- Familiarity with FPGA integration and hardware acceleration (preferred)
- Experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI for firmware automation (preferred)
- Ability to script with Python or Shell for test automation and manufacturing support (preferred)
- Experience with cloud‑connected IoT platforms such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT (preferred)
- Embedded systems certifications or contributions to open‑source embedded projects (preferred)
