About the role

Electrical Engineer on the Maneuver Dominance team in Costa Mesa, developing aerial robotic systems that integrate with ground forces and Anduril drone platforms; the role owns the electrical interface with partner airframes, defines and verifies all connections, and drives integration into the Lattice ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years experience in aerospace or defense electrical engineering with ICD development
  • Experience in aerospace harness design (wiring, MIL‑DTL‑38999 or equivalent connectors, backshell, routing)
  • Ability to perform power budget analysis for complex vehicle electrical architectures
  • EMC planning and coordination knowledge per MIL‑STD‑461 or DO‑160
  • Awareness of signal integrity for high‑speed digital interfaces
  • Experience driving interface closure with external partners or cross‑org teams
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active US security clearance
  • Familiarity with rotorcraft or eVTOL electrical architecture (preferred)
  • Knowledge of vehicle bus protocols (ARINC 429, CAN, MIL‑STD‑1553, Ethernet avionics) (preferred)
  • Experience with hybrid‑electric power system interfaces (high‑voltage isolation, battery management, regenerative loads) (preferred)
  • Avionics integration experience (preferred)
