The DevOps Engineer will remotely design, automate and manage deployment pipelines for a global financial institution, supporting hybrid‑cloud environments, onboarding new projects, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, efficient delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with one or more cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • 10+ years overall DevOps experience
  • Experience with Harness, GitHub, GitHub Actions or Jenkins pipelines
  • Proficiency in Java or Python
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container management
  • Experience with Terraform and other IaC tools
  • Experience with modern SDLC, DevOps mindset, test‑driven development
  • Design and implementation of CI/CD pipeline processes and automated build/test systems on cloud platforms
  • Implement shift‑left security methodologies in pipelines
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate deliverables
  • Associate or intermediate level DevOps industry certification
  • Expertise with multiple IaC tools such as CloudFormation and ARM templates (preferred)
  • Experience with cloud monitoring frameworks (preferred)
  • Experience with Policy as Code tools and enforcement in pipelines (preferred)
  • Experience with open source and vendor CI/CD frameworks (preferred)
  • Experience with support models and configuration management tools like Ansible (preferred)
  • Financial industry experience is a plus (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
  • Advanced level DevOps industry certification (preferred)
