About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, build and own CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated build/test/release processes, monitoring, security and networking infrastructure for Molg’s robotic micro‑factories and software platforms, working closely with software, robotics and hardware engineers to accelerate deployment and reliability.

About the company

Molg builds robotic systems that make electronics manufacturing circular, partnering with hyperscalers and leading electronics manufacturers to automate design, production, disassembly, repair, reuse and recovery of hardware using robotics, computational design and AI; the 100% in‑person startup operates from an industrial facility in Sterling, VA.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering or site reliability engineering with ownership of production infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar) including pipeline design, secrets and artifact management.
  • Strong experience containerizing applications with Docker and Docker Compose for on‑premise environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Ansible, Terraform or equivalents managing on‑premise servers and networks.
  • Solid scripting and automation skills in Python and/or Bash.
  • Experience administering Linux systems in production (provisioning, hardening, storage, maintenance).
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or similar).
  • Experience supporting embedded or robotics systems, edge deployments or industrial environments (strong plus).
  • Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, VPNs, firewalls and LAN administration.
  • Strong communication skills with a bias toward documentation.
  • Ability to work in‑person at Molg HQ in Sterling, VA.
