About the role
The Data Architect on the Data Services team will own the design and evolution of RegEd’s cloud‑native, multi‑tenant SaaS data platform serving 200+ clients, leading a metadata‑driven integration solution built on Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Unity Catalog, collaborating with data, platform and product engineers, translating business needs into architectural patterns, managing Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines, and driving data‑governance across a 30TB+ cloud estate.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in data science and development
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing and data integration techniques
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R and SQL
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Experience with cloud‑based data solutions such as AWS and Azure
- RegTech experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance firms and capital markets (preferred)
