About the role

The Senior Consultant, Tableau/Alteryx Server Administrator will administer Tableau Server/Cloud and Alteryx Server environments, manage user access and governance, monitor platform health, support publishing and workflow scheduling, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with consultants and client stakeholders, assist with upgrades and maintenance, provide end-user training, and drive continuous improvement across analytics platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience administering Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud environments
  • Experience supporting Alteryx Server and workflow management
  • Strong understanding of analytics platform governance, security, and user administration
  • Experience troubleshooting platform performance and user access issues
  • Strong communication and client-facing collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
  • Ability to work remotely or from an Avaap office location
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or Databricks (preferred)
  • Experience supporting Higher Education and/or Government clients (preferred)
  • Familiarity with SQL and data integration concepts (preferred)
  • Experience with Tableau Prep, Power BI, or related analytics tools (preferred)
  • Experience supporting enterprise analytics modernization initiatives (preferred)
  • Tableau and/or Alteryx certifications preferred
