Credit Union Manager

The Credit Union Manager leads a small team at Gallup Federal Credit Union, owning day‑to‑day operations, general‑ledger accounting, compliance, member service and financial‑wellbeing education, while partnering with Gallup leadership and the credit union board to ensure financial integrity and strategic execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
• At least five years of accounting experience required
• Experience working in a credit union or bank accounting environment required
• Management or leadership experience in a credit union or bank preferred
• General ledger experience and strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting required
• Proficiency with accounting systems required; QuickBooks® experience preferred
• Experience supporting audits or regulatory examinations required
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills required
• Ability to be bonded required
• Ability to register with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) required
• Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) certification or willingness to obtain it preferred
• Commitment to working on‑site at Gallup’s Omaha office five days per week required
• Eligibility to work in the United States required; not eligible for visa sponsorship
