About the role
The Commissioning Senior Manager – Mechanical acts as the onsite commissioning lead for a data‑center campus, overseeing the full commissioning lifecycle of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire protection and other building systems. The role drives planning, execution, documentation and handover, leads multidisciplinary teams, manages schedules, budgets and safety, and ensures the facility is ready for operations on time and within performance specifications.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering or related field (or equivalent commissioning school/military experience) and at least 8 years of mechanical commissioning in mission‑critical facilities.
- Proven experience leading functional testing and Integrated Systems Testing coordination with strong SCADA/controls/BMS integration and TAB knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams during high‑stakes startup and cut‑over periods.
- Excellent organizational, project management and problem‑solving abilities with strong documentation discipline.
- Superior written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills; proficient with project management and commissioning software platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 25 % and work extended hours, including weekends, nights and occasional holidays during startup windows.
- Preferred certifications: ASHRAE BCxP, ACG CxA, NEBB BSC or equivalent.
