About the role
The AWS Quality Data Engineer (Quality Engineer) works remotely (Seattle preferred) to design and automate data quality validation, build testing frameworks, monitor data drift, and collaborate with data, BI and software teams to enforce data quality KPIs.

Requirements
- Deep proficiency with AWS data and storage services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Lambda.
- Advanced Python programming skills for building automation frameworks and orchestrating data tests.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and data quality monitoring frameworks such as Amazon Deequ.
- Strong command of SQL and Unix/Linux scripting for querying and analyzing large‑scale distributed datasets.
- AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate certification – highly preferred.
