Application Architect

The Application Architect will define and maintain enterprise application architecture across core banking, lending, deposit origination, credit card, mortgage, integration, data and Azure cloud platforms, collaborating with business, technology, risk, compliance, security and vendor teams to deliver secure, scalable and compliant solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum seven years of experience in application architecture, solution architecture, enterprise applications or systems integration
• At least three years of experience in banking, financial services or fintech
• Experience designing integrations across vendor platforms, core systems, digital banking, data platforms and cloud services
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture, including secure design, identity, monitoring, resiliency, networking and cost‑aware cloud patterns
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business, executive, compliance and technical audiences
• Experience with Fiserv core banking, Abrigo, MANTL, mortgage, credit‑card, Salesforce, digital banking or payments platforms
• Experience with API‑led connectivity, cloud‑native design, DevSecOps, CI/CD practices or architecture frameworks
• Architecture certification such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent experience
