Alternatives Business Transformation Solution Architect

About the role

The Business Solution Architect will define and maintain the target‑state business and technology architecture for HSBC’s Alternatives business in Asset Management, translating strategy into roadmaps, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering scalable, regulatory‑compliant solutions across private markets.

Requirements

• Strong Asset Management/Alternatives track record with deep understanding of private markets (private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds)
• Background in Business Architecture or Solutions Architecture within asset or investment management
• Solid data architecture capability including data lineage, data flows, integration patterns and data governance
• Extensive exposure to end‑to‑end Alternatives operating models and hands‑on experience with platforms such as Allvue, eFront, Arcesium, SimCorp, BlackRock Aladdin, Investran or similar
• Awareness and practical exposure to emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain) applied to an Alternatives context
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills with ability to work across regions, time zones and a matrixed organisation
