About the role
As a senior AI/ML Engineer in Prolific’s Expert Network, you will remotely train and evaluate next‑generation LLMs, providing high‑quality human feedback, auditing model logic and code, and benchmarking performance to improve model alignment and safety.

Requirements
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Robotics or related quantitative field with ML focus.
- Proven experience building, deploying or fine‑tuning ML models in production.
- Professional‑level mastery of neural network architectures (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs) and optimization techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with Prompt Engineering, RLHF or Retrieval‑Augmented Generation workflows.
- Ability to audit complex model logic, detect training data contamination, and evaluate mathematical proofs of ML algorithms.
- Strong attention to detail for spotting hallucinations, bias or logical errors in AI‑generated content.
- Expert proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras.
- Advanced Python skills (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit‑learn) and familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience with cloud/MLOps platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Weights & Biases or LangChain.
- Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, Milvus or Weaviate.
