About the role
The AI Cloud Platform Engineer will design, build, and scale next‑generation intelligent systems, bridging advanced AI with robust cloud infrastructure. Working on a team that architects multi‑agent flows, retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, and secure AI workloads for roughly 300,000 users, the role requires agile technical leadership and close collaboration with data scientists, UI/UX designers, and subject‑matter experts.

Requirements
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- Ability to obtain DHS EOD Public Trust
- BS/BA with 15+ years experience (or equivalent: AA + 17, MS + 12, or no degree + 21)
- 10+ years of cloud/infrastructure engineering experience
- Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Deep knowledge of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architecture, vector databases, embeddings, and information retrieval
- Expert Terraform skills and Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience
- Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS) for AI/LLM workloads
- Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient Python scripting/programming
- Desired: Active Secret security clearance
- Desired: Prior DHS or DoD experience
- Desired: Experience with CSAM, RegScale, eMASS, or similar GRC tools
- Desired: Experience supporting emergency operations or disaster response missions
- Desired: Knowledge of cloud security and FedRAMP processes
- Desired: Experience with continuous monitoring and automated security tools
- Desired: Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership
