About the role

The AEO/GEO/SEO Lead will own how Replit is discovered via AI-generated answers and traditional search, defining and executing a zero‑to‑one strategy, collaborating daily with Web, Growth, Brand, Content, Product, Engineering and Analytics teams to grow AI referral traffic and maintain search presence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in SEO, organic growth, or content‑driven acquisition, preferably in SaaS/technology or developer‑focused businesses, with hands‑on AEO/GEO work in the last year
  • Demonstrable results in AI referral traffic growth, citation acquisition, ranking improvements and measurement
  • Technical fluency in SEO: keyword research, crawling, indexing, structured data, site architecture, and log analysis
  • Understanding of how LLMs retrieve and cite sources across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity
  • Strong writing ability and skill to direct people, agencies, and AI tools to produce citation‑earning content
  • Analytical capability to build measurement linking organic visibility to traffic, sign‑ups, adoption, and revenue
  • Comfortable partnering with engineering, product, content, and analytics stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment
  • Experience building frameworks, processes, and strategy from scratch
  • Founder‑mindset: proactive, fast, self‑defining playbook
  • Collaborative, low‑ego attitude and willingness to dive into details
  • Bonus: Built AI answers as primary acquisition channel at a PLG, consumer, or developer‑facing software company
  • Bonus: Deep Reddit fluency and ability to earn credible presence
  • Bonus: Experience running YouTube as an organic discovery channel
